Road to Mokoreta

The road between Papatowai and Mokareta in The Catlins takes you past my childhood home at Tahakopa, which sat at the base of the peak in the background. A very beautiful valley incised by the Tahakopa River and with native bush clad slopes, this painting captures the memory of travel up the valley.
